playing violin pics

Unless someone takes a picture of a violinist playing the violin, he or she would never have such a photo. Obviously.

I have very, very few of me and the violin.

But I happen to do a gig tonight where someone (again, sound guy Susheel, the one who last took the pic of my ugly hand) kindly takes a photo of me, with the good doctor in the background.

I happened to scan in photos of my secondary school self performing on stage, as I was going through those RGS yearbooks: Age: 14? 15? I forgot to note down the year.

And in line with the violin pictures theme, I happened to remember the most OTT shot I had ever done of me and my violin (apart from the wedding playing-in-the-sea pix) where I was extravagantly made over and wore eyeliner for perhaps the second time in my life. It was for a re:mix photo shoot.

re-mix #06

Hence, random pictures with a common theme.

(And kids, if you read this, remember all of you said you HATED the violin OK. You say one ah)

Aw... any other instruments? Wind, Brass? ;D

You never thought to just have them learn young, eh? Well, me neither. haha. Except for the youngest, and only bc he's was apeing his elder siblings.

Actually your no.2 & no.3 still have chance. And if it's wind/brass, surely no problem picking up later for no.1 either.

Even more drastic - chinese instrument. HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! You should've seen my own reaction to my kids when one came home and said he wanted to learn violin (*shock*!), and for the Chinese instrument - I took a long time to swallow that, but it slowly did. haha!

nah it doesn't matter.

i think i'm just sore because i could potentially save so much money if at least one of them were interested.

i'm coming from the kiam-siap angle.

But some kids prefer to learn from "someone else" leh.

but even in terms of hardware like violins in every size... i can supply for free mah. no need to buy.

anyway its nothing to do with whether i or someone else is teaching. they dont like full stop.

Ah yes, that's true - about the hardware.
